Care that started at the bedside
JTN Health Services was built by a nurse who has spent her whole career caring for elders, and who wanted families across Maryland to have that same kind of care at home.
Who we are
Home care, dementia care and staffing, led by a nurse
JTN Health Services, LLC is based in Laurel, Maryland. We help seniors and people living with illness or disability stay safe and comfortable at home, and we provide qualified nursing staff to care facilities throughout the state.
Every family's situation is different, so every plan starts with a conversation and a nurse's visit. We get to know the person: their health, their home, their routines and what makes a good day for them. Then we build care around that.
We choose our caregivers carefully, screening for skills, experience, credentials and background. Then we train them, support them and check in, so the care your family receives stays consistent.

Meet our founder
Tina Mensah
Tina's career in care began in 1996, as a certified nursing assistant at a long-term care facility in Laurel. Caring for elders, and for people living with the day-to-day effects of illness, quickly became more than a job. It became her calling.
She went on to spend six years as the live-in caregiver for a senior woman in Bowie, caring for her one-on-one until she transitioned in 2003. That same month, Tina graduated as a licensed practical nurse.
As an LPN in long-term care, she worked closely with residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. She went on to become a registered nurse, a delegating nurse and a case manager, and spent nearly nine years as clinical nurse manager of a dementia care neighborhood.
Tina founded JTN Health Services to bring that experience home: to families across Maryland, and to the next generation of caregivers. She personally trains the CNAs, CMTs and LPNs who join JTN, and she hires for the qualities she learned matter most at the bedside: experience, compassion, respect and genuine care.
1996
Begins her career as a CNA at a long-term care facility in Laurel.
1997 to 2003
Provides one-on-one, live-in care for a senior woman in Bowie for six years.
2003
Graduates as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
As an LPN
Cares for long-term care residents, many living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
As an RN
Spends nearly nine years as clinical nurse manager of a dementia care neighborhood.
Today
Leads JTN Health Services and trains the caregivers who carry on the work.
